USGBC CA Presents: Rebuilding for Sustainability & Wildfire Resilience

Join USGBC-CA for an interactive workshop on wildfire rebuilding pathways and best practices for resilient homes and neighborhoods. The workshop will begin with experts identifying key early decisions homeowners and building professionals will face and providing guidance to help them make the best decisions on their pathway to rebuilding. USGBC-CA also offers advice, training, certifications, and other tools designed to support workforce development pipelines for contractors, construction professionals, and landscapers. The goal is to increase the capacity and knowledge around resilient and green building principles and to underscore best practices in high-road contracting. Our goal is to collaborate with partners across our region to provide comprehensive resources and support towards a greener and more resilient future. After the workshop, we will break into a guided tour of the expo floor to make direct connections for prefab and modular construction, as well as resilient and sustainable products for rebuilding.
