If you pre-registered for this course, your seat in the class is held until 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. At that time your seat in the session can no longer be guaranteed.

If a workshop or session is full, and you have a Conference Pass, Student Pass or Volunteer Pass, you will be able to enter the session on a first-come first-served basis 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the event so long as capacity has not been reached

Greenbuild staff at the entrance of the session have the ability to stop permitting entrance to the session when the room hits the set capacity.

As embodied carbon becomes a larger share of buildings’ emissions profile in the coming decades, materials will require novel approaches, nature-informed solutions, and a great deal of innovation. Building products of tomorrow need to be multi-attribute and encompass circular, low-carbon and healthy concepts. Innovation will only happen through collaboration among aligned organizations, adequate focus and funding for the next wave of products, and recognition of leadership criteria through rating systems like LEED, Living Building Challenge, and WELL.

The Greenbuild Material Summit on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 will focus on these emerging trends and provide harmonized solutions for manufacturers and project teams looking to optimize building materials.
