GAF Presents: Defining the Future with LEED v5.0 and Roofs
Thursday, November 6, 2025 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM · 1 hr. (US/Pacific)
Information
Change can be intimidating. This presentation is here to help. USGBC has published LEED v.5.0, which includes new credits and changes to previously used credits. We will take you step-by-step through where your roof assembly and materials can help achieve credits under the new system as well as highlight critical changes from past versions: including embodied carbon, EPDs, and material ingredient reporting. Additionally, we will discuss areas where meeting more recent versions of the building code may help you achieve LEED compliance. The goal is for you to leave ready to start your next roof project under the newest version of LEED, knowing the questions to ask and the documentation to require from your roof system manufacturer.
