Information
Sustainability encompasses diverse meanings and requirements for each owner in achieving project goals. This presentation explores how roof assemblies contribute to various sustainability objectives. Through case studies and examples, we will demonstrate the integration of circularity, solar reflectivity, durability, energy efficiency, and overburden roof assemblies into designs. Additionally, the presentation will discuss how different types of roof membranes and coatings can enhance the longevity of existing roofs. Overburden assemblies will cover options like green roofs, water management, amenity spaces, and rooftop solar. The presentation will conclude with an overview of sustainability documentation for roof materials, showcasing how specific projects attained LEED and WELL certifications.
