ARCAT is a free building product research and specification platform serving architects, engineers, specifiers, contractors, and the broader AEC industry. For more than 35 years, ARCAT has given design professionals a single place to find manufacturer-specific content and move directly from research to documentation: CSI-format 3-part specifications, CAD details, BIM objects, product catalogs, technical literature, and much more. No registration, subscription, or fee is required. For manufacturers, ARCAT is a way to put product data in front of specifiers at the moment a project is being designed rather than after the specification is already written. Manufacturers publish their content on the platform and reach an audience actively researching and selecting products, making ARCAT a channel for influencing specification decisions early in the design process.
