Renewabuild Great Plains brings North America’s first patented engineered structural hempcrete wall system to the U.S. market. Designed as a complete wall assembly, the system combines structural hempcrete blocks, with an integrated polymer-composite frame, proprietary mineral-based mortar, and a post-tensioning rod system to create a high-performance structural envelope. The system is engineered to integrate structural capacity, thermal performance, fire resistance, acoustic attenuation, and moisture regulation into a single wall assembly. Depending on assembly configuration, walls provide approximately R28–R40 thermal performance, while the vapor-open design supports natural moisture management without conventional vapor barriers. The system is also independently tested for fire, structural, wind, and other performance criteria. By reducing the number of conventional wall components and trades, Renewabuild can simplify construction while minimizing material waste.
